| Job Description | An exciting opportunity exists for a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) in a growing multi-disciplinary sports medicine centre.
For the past 3 years FITS Toronto has been using its unique movement based approach to clinically treat and improve the athleticism of developing and elite athletes from all over Ontario. We have a large 8000 sq. Foot facility with clinic and gym space with all equipment available for treatment. We advocate a movement and manual therapy approach to healthcare and athletic development that is backed by scientific research. We are looking for a passionate, team orientated RMT with an interest in sports to help us continue this expansion. The successful applicant will: - Have an interest and preferably experience in the management of sports injuries. - Be up to date on latest research in techniques and injury management for a variety of ages ranging from child to masters level athlete. - Have a strong understanding of functional anatomy and physiology and be able to apply this knowledge in a clinical setting. - Participate in and/or coordinate special event coverage as needed. - Assist with community and promotional programs - Be a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) with the College of Massage Therapists Ontario (CMTO).
