This Summer 2005 issue of Massage Therapy Canada takes a look at the Trends that are happening in our profession and in our country today. It is clear that when attempting to cover such a broad topic, one magazine issue can hardly do it justice.
We have gathered a number of feature articles, from many areas across Canada, to bring you a glimpse of the changes and developments that are happening around us.
The massage therapy profession boasts a very diverse group of individuals and so it makes sense that its goals for, and views of the profession, be just as diverse. It may sound like I am giving the poor horse a proverbial beating, however, I strongly believe that it is the commitment of open communication and continued learning that will give us a chance to move, as a unified profession, in a positive direction.
Massage Therapy Canada would like to thank all individuals and groups who took the time to contribute to this issue. We always
look forward to interaction and feedback from readers. Thank you to those who have taken the time to contact us with your support.
Massage Therapy Canada is excited to announce the launch of our new website. There are many resources that can be accessed by logging on to www.massagetherapycanada.com.
MTC is also excited to have posted more information regarding the MT Expo, in both this issue as well as the website. Take advantage of the early and pre-registration capabilities found on the site. We have created an incentive of a wonderful gift and discounted admission for those who do pre-register. Registering for the Expo is quick and easy through the on-line registration section of the site, however, if you prefer to register by phone, please give us a call at 1-888-247-2176. We hope to see you there!
Wishing you a safe and restful summer.
