Equine Massage Information Sessions
Jan. 8, London, Ont. – The Darcy Lane Institute School of Equine Massage Therapy invites those interested in pursuing competency in equine massage therapy to attend one of three information sessions scheduled for spring 2012.

Equine massage has been developed to aid the equine world. Just as the human body requires rehabilitation, relief from pain and stress, detoxification, improved circulation and joint mobility, so does the equine body. The Registered Equine Massage Therapist works with veterinarians, coaches, trainers, horse care specialists and horse owners.

The Darcy Lane equine massage therapy program is the only registered program of it's kind in North America offering the most intensive program, to date, in equine massage. With the assistance of veterinarians, registered massage therapists, C.E.F. certified coaches, competitive riders and horse owners, the program has been designed to provide the student with the expertise to aide the equine athlete in rehabilitation as well as helping owners maximize the potential of their horses.

Part of what makes this program unique is that students are taught to consider themselves as an extension of veterinary health care, not an alternative. Our students work in conjunction with veterinarians to minimize rehabilitation time and enhance performance.

The program is 2200 hours in length and classes begin in September every year.

The information sessions are designed to provide an opportunity for individuals to explore the profession of equine massage and discover more information about the program offered at Darcy Lane.

Spring 2012 sessions are scheduled for:

10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Saturday, April 14, 2012
