The ministers plan to discuss co-operation on some of the country’s most pressing health-care issues.

On
Monday, Ambrose announced the Conservative government will propose
regulatory amendments to further restrict access to flavoured tobacco
products.

Health groups are calling on other governments to
follow Alberta’s lead and ban flavoured tobacco products, including
menthol cigarettes.

The ministers will also discuss prescription drug abuse, drug pricing and the need for a national strategy on dementia.
