Call for research posters for AMTA convention
The Massage Therapy Foundation (MTF) is inviting massage therapy professionals and research to submit a poster for consideration for the upcoming American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) National Convention in Pasadena, Calif.

The convention, to be held Sept. 14 to 16, will feature the annual poster session, said the MTF said. The MTF is assisting the AMTA in the selection of poster submissions this year.
This year the convention will showcase posters in three categories: original research, programmatic evaluation, and clinical case presentations, the MTF said.
“Posters are an important way for bodyworkers and researchers to share their expertise with other members of the profession,” the MTF said. “The Foundation’s poster session allows us to bring reports on research, programs, and clinical cases to the AMTA National Convention.”
More than 1,000 massage therapists are expected to view the posters at the event.
Additional information on the poster session and poster specifications can be found on the MTF website. Poster abstracts can be submitted electronically to www.massagetherapyfoundation.org/grantportal by May 15, 2017, 11.59pm CST. Selected authors will be notified by July 6, 2017.
