CSMTA reminds RMTs to Register for Conference!
Aug. 29, Halifax, NS – The Atlantic Chapter of the Canadian Sport Massage Therapists Association (CSMTA) is proud to be hosting the 2012 CSMTA AGM and Conference, to be held October 19-21, in beautiful Halifax, Nova Scotia. All interested practitioners and students are welcome to attend this event!

This
celebratory weekend will commence with the Annual General Meeting of the
membership on Friday evening and will be followed by the Friday Night Social
with musical guest, Sheva. At this social night, the CSMTA will celebrate 25
years and take a look at the accomplishments of its most committed members!
Saturday
and Sunday will be full of learning! Workshops will include the following:
– Sport
Medicine Symposium (Five expert lectures – Saturday only)
– CSMTA
Advanced Sport Massage Course (Two days)

Sprains, Strains and A Manual Approach to Common Hip Conditions (Saturday only)
– Fascia
Stretch Therapy – Lower Body Introductory Workshop (Sunday only)
– An Osteopathic
Approach to Concussion Management (Sunday only)
Saturday
night will feature a gathering of all attendees and organizers for a Classic
East Coast Kitchen Party with musical guests, Merimac! Guests will enjoy an
evening of maritime hospitality, networking, and socializing.
