The National Lymphedema Conference will be held October 23-24, 2015 in Calgary, Alberta.
Lymphedema affects many people of all ages, including approximately 300,000 Canadians. Yet this condition remains under-recognized, under-treated and underfunded. Events to raise awareness and education for people living with lymphedema and the health professionals who support their care are an important component of the Canadian Lymphedema Framework's visions that "comprehensive effective management of lymphedema and related disorders will be accessible to all persons across Canada" and that "people with and at risk of lymphedema are in optimal health". By working in collaboration with both international and provincial partners we can achieve these visions.
