The first portion will be completed online and must be done so before the live class (link to the online platform is emailed two weeks before the live class). This is an integrated course. Instead of having you take two days away from work/life to complete this course, we have conveniently put the theory content online and that way the live course is ALL hands-on with some review of online content. To finish the training we will also have a pregnancy massage clinic at the end of the day.

Course Description:

Essential elements and bodywork concerns related to work with pregnant patients will be delivered through a series of theoretical and practical instruction, over a two day period. Review of pregnancy physiology, pathology and contraindications will be examined as it relates to each trimester of pregnancy and into a high-risk pregnancy. During the onsite pregnancy clinic, participants will learn development of appropriate treatment goals while demonstrating safety modifications taught in class. This course includes perinatal business development and effective networking strategies to leave participants with the ability to grow their perinatal practice. After completing this course, students should be able to safely and effectively treat pregnant patients in a variety of clinical setting including hospital settings.
