Sept. 1, 2011, Red Deer, Alta. – The Massage Therapist Association of Alberta (MTAA) announces that it will be hosting workshops in pre- and post-natal massage, infant massage, birth support massage, dhoula skills and more.

Courses are given by the "Mother and Baby Wellness Professional Training" group, who began offering their courses in 1995. The goal of these workshops is to educate and empower practitioners withskills and wisdom that can enrich the lives of women, their families and thecommunity.

Upcoming course dates and locations are as follows:

  • Pre and Post Natal Massage, Calgary, AB, October 29-30, 2011;
  • Understanding the Female Pelvic Floor, Calgary, AB, September 9 (three hours) and October 29-30, 2011;
  • Infant Massage Professional Training, Calgary, AB, October 29; Duncan, BC October 1, 2011;
  • Birth Support, Massage and Doula Skills, Calgary, AB, October 29-30, 2011.
