The retreat, Jan. 22 – Jan. 29, 2011, is eight days and seven nights in the all inclusive Bacelo Cayo resort and allows RMTs to partake in four days of business and practice development seminars.

Therapeutic Massage Counsel (TMC) is hosting the first annual RMT
Business Development Retreat in Santa Maria, Cuba.  The retreat, January
22 – January 29, 2011, is eight days and seven nights in the all inclusive
Bacelo Cayo resort and allows RMTs to partake in four days of business
and practice development seminars from some of the most reputable
Canadian RMTs and educators in the field.

TMC is one of Canada’s
largest independent massage therapy clinics and training facilities whose
faculty and business  model has been
duplicated four times.



Confirmed speakers and topics

Renowned author and
therapist, David Zulak, will offer a discussion on practical techniques developed
to increase proficient and effective practices for RMTs, including fresh
modalities and approaches to increase your professional skills.

Financial advisor, John
Patterson, will discuss financial competency for professionals operating a
massage therapy facility.  Accounting,
book-keeping, investing and other financial necessities for a successful
practice will be examined.

RMT, Naomi Baker, will present
business operations ideas, including policy and procedures, business relations,
professional contracts, marketing, clinic duplication and more.

Sara Horney will offer an
office management training session geared to teaching tried and true systems for
developing and organized, effective office management structure.



Registrant and contact information

Seminars will run four of
the seven days, Monday through Thursday between 9a.m. and 1:30p.m.  Each registrant can attend four seminars of
their choice and will have 30 minutes of one-on-one coaching with one educator
of their choice. 

Registrants have the opportunity to earn up to eight CEU’s at this tax
deductible retreat and may bring a spouse or guest for a discounted
price.  Registration includes flight from Toronto, resort stay,courses
and health and travel insurance.

Registration deadline is
October 25, 2010.  Those who register prior to September 20, 2010 will receive a free gift.
