This Spring Issue of Massage Therapy Canada is dedicated to the importance of Public Awareness. We have a responsibility, as health care providers, to educate the public, even if only one person at a time. Information in this issue is presented in such a way that, both therapist and patient/client, will gain knowledge. Our aim in producing this issue was to provide a two-sided point of view; inform the public and provide a resource to the profession.

We have added two new departments to the lineup. “School Profile” and “Client Centre.” The centrespread of each issue will now contain information that will be directed to your clientele. Feel free to photocopy or reproduce this information in any way that will be helpful. Please submit topics or ideas that would be beneficial to your clients.

I would like to remind readers of our upcoming theme slated for release later this year. We are compiling data, information and opinion on Trends happening in our profession in Canada today. This special Trends issue will be informative, thought provoking and hopefully motivating. Massage Therapy Canada is looking for your contribution to this issue, if we are to present a “Canadian” picture, we will need your help. Submissions are being received from individual therapists, associations and educators. If you have something to share, please let us know.
