Be part of a growing clinic in Toronto's busy East End. We have been open for nearly 3 years and expanded our space in July 2016. We continue to grow our client base and require more amazing therapists to take care of our patients! We are steps from Danforth and Woodbine, with street parking available.
Suitable applicants can start as early as May 1 and can work 2-4 shifts/week, including weekend days.
Our space consists of 3 large but cozy treatment rooms in a street-level, storefront property on the Danforth. We also have a naturopathic doctor on our team and hope to add more complementary disciplines to the practice.
We pride ourselves on being a warm, friendly, judgement-free and inclusive space. Our patients appreciate that we feel like we are a part of the community, and we walk the line between "spa" and "clinic". We are not a white-walled, fluorescent-lit box, but we do encourage evidence-based practices, home care, and thorough note-keeping. Our space is clean, organised and quiet, and we work together as a team to keep it that way. Our patient-base is primarily locals and includes many ages, professions, and states of health.
- must be self-sufficient, good problem-solvers, organised, and trustworthy with a great sense of pride, passion, and thoughtfulness in their work.
- must be able to work at least two Saturdays and/or Sundays per month (plus other hours throughout the week)
- are responsible for taking payment, basic computer skills (dealing with our online booking and accounting systems), light cleaning duties, and answering the phone as needed. Laundry is on-site.
Specific days and hours available are:
- Monday 3-8pm
- Wednesday 3-8pm
- Friday 1-8pm
- Saturday 12-6pm
- Sunday 12-6pm
These are very busy times and we expect your schedule will fill up easily!
Our clinic has no receptionist, but our appointments are generally booked by the patients themselves online.
Offering a generous split. Contractors are not required to provide any materials (unless required for a specialised skill-set).
Please reply with your resume and a description of your career as an RMT so far, including a few CEUs you have enjoyed, or special skill sets you can bring into our team.
