Massage Therapy Foundation announces research grants deadlines
The Massage Therapy Foundation (MTF), based in Evanston, Ill., has announced it 2018 research grants and contest deadlines for massage therapy professionals and students.

The grants and contests are open to students and practitioners who “would you like to make a direct impact on the future of the massage therapy profession.”
“You may have an idea for a research study that could open up new treatment avenues or maybe you work with a community in desperate need of the benefits of massage,” wrote Jerrilyn Cambron, MTF president, in an email. “You might be a student who works with a client who presents excellent material for a case report, or perhaps you have a case that you would like to share by creating a poster to be considered for display at convention.”
The various grants and contests available for 2018 and the deadlines for application include:
Research Grants (maximum award US$30,000) – March 1, 2018
Community Service Grants (maximum award US$5,000) – April 2, 2018
Poster Abstract – April 2, 2018
Student Case Report Contest ¬– June 1, 2018
“We would love to hear your ideas and help you bring your unique contributions to the profession,” Cambron wrote.
