Thompson, Immediate Past President of the Massage Therapy Foundation and Chair
of the conference planning committee stated, “This NCCAM conference grant is an
important demonstration of support—support of massage therapy’s presence in
integrative medicine and support of the Massage Therapy Foundation’s role in
bridging research and massage therapy practice.”

The “Highlighting Massage Therapy in CIM Research” conference will bring
together massage and manual therapy practitioners, educators, CIM researchers,
allied health professionals, and others interested in massage research. Current
