This is the fourth research conference hosted by the Massage Therapy
Research Foundation (MTRF), bringing together massage and manual therapy
practitioners, educators, researchers, allied health professionals and
others interested in massage research.
"We aim to educate massage practitioners about the research process and
provide an opportunity to disseminate current massage research," the
MTRF said on its website.
The MTRF hosts the IMTRC every three years. Previous conferences were
held in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2005, in Seattle in 2010 and Boston
in 2013.
The MTRF will be announcing the details of the 2016 conference in coming months, including a call for presenters.
