National Accreditation Planning Committee to hold stakeholder workshop

July 31, Toronto — The National Accreditation Planning Committee will present its recommendations and solicit feedback during a stakeholder workshop in Toronto on Oct. 8.

The Planning Committee will publish a report addressing the structure and governance of the accreditation agency, operating principles, resourcing and phase-in approach and timeframe later that month.

Prior to finalizing its report, the committee will present its recommendations and solicit feedback during a stakeholder workshop. The workshop will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Oct. 8, in downtown Toronto.

Attendance is by prior registration only, and is open to no more than two representatives of the following organizations: massage therapy regulatory bodies; massage therapy educators, including both individual schools and associations of schools; and massage therapy professional associations.

To pre-register, email deborah.smith@cmto.com with the name of your organization and the names and contact information of your representatives. The registration deadline is Sept. 6.
