2012 NHPC conference in Banff

Jan 15, Edmonton, AB – The Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC) invites all massage therapists to its 23rd annual national conference and trade show in Banff, Alberta.

The event
is scheduled for May 10-12, 2012 at the Banff Centre and is open to massage
therapists and all health care practitioners. 

The conference will help RMTs expand their professional
knowledge, engage in personal development, build and maintain friendships with
other forward thinking healthcare practitioners, all while taking in the
breathtaking beauty of Banff, Alberta. 
The event features over 30 workshops and presentations from the top
names in integrative, holistic and natural healthcare, including Ruth Werner,
Paul Lewis, Neil Pearson, Rae Dunphy and more.

Take in plenary speaker Dr Sunita Vohra, MD, FRCP(C), MSc.
Dr Vohra is a Professor in the Faculty of Medicine and School of Public Health
at the University of Alberta. She is also a founding Director of both the
Complementary and Alternative Research and Education (CARE) Program, Canada’s
first academic pediatric integrative medicine program, and the PedCAM network,
a national pediatric CAM research and education network.

Attendees are welcome to bring their families and
celebrate Mothers Day (May13th) in Canada’s premiere vacation destination.
NHPC’s conference banquet event is family friendly.

Attendees can also partake in self-care and personal
development workshops, such as meditation, aboriginal spirituality and cultural
beliefs, yoga, and chakra balancing.

For CEUs, please check with your local jurisdiction. Most
courses are recognized by CMTBC and CMTO.
