National accreditation for massage therapy education coming soon to Canada
Plans are underway to develop a national accreditation system for massage therapy education, and the proposed new accreditation body may be incorporated as early as the beginning of 2014. This was revealed at a workshop held on Oct. 8 in Toronto hosted by the national accreditation planning committee.

Alberta researchers test light therapy to help with post-cancer fatigue
A new research study involving Alberta Health Services (AHS) and the University of Calgary is now examining whether light therapy will help people with chronic fatigue who have successfully completed their treatment for cancer. Cancer-related fatigue is reported to be one of the most prevalent and distressing symptoms experienced by cancer patients.

Niagara Falls plays host to national conference for RMTs
