Manitoba approves regulation of massage therapy profession (Nov. 24)

The province of Manitoba has approved the regulation of massage therapy following the release of a report by the Health Professions Advisory Council recommending the regulation of the profession. The report comes more than three years after the Massage Therapy Association of Manitoba officially applied for self-regulation under the province's Regulated Health Professions Act in 2012. >> Read full article

B.C. health ministry issues changes to massage therapy regulation (May 12)

Sports focus takes massage therapy to new heights (July 13)

This was certainly true for Quebec-based massage therapist Alain Bellemare who got into the game of sport massage early on in his career, and has been to four Olympic games and other international sporting events since.
