TORONTO, Oct. 7, 2019 -The Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario is pleased to announce the appointment of Eve Adams as its new Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer.
“We were impressed with Eve’s background and experience which includes 20 years in municipal, provincial and federal government. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in policy development and strategy and we know she will be a strong leader for our Association,” said Board Chair Krystin Bokalo.
A former Member of Parliament, Adams’s background includes leading nationwide stakeholder consultations. She brings a passion for evidence-based, health advocacy and a deep commitment to developing strong partnerships.
“I’m honoured to be selected by the Board for this role,” said Adams. “I look forward to working with our exceptional staff, Board and members across Ontario to continue to promote the profession and enhance member services.
“On behalf of the Board of Directors, I extend sincere appreciation to Jill Haig for her work as Interim Executive Director. We are deeply grateful for her assistance and are delighted to have her resume serving the Association as our Director of Operations,” added Bokalo.
