Structural Myofascial Therapy courses

Aug. 15, Kelowna, BC – RMTs are invited to enroll in Structural Myofascial Therapy courses, Levels 1 and 2 to be held in Kelowna, Montreal and Edmonton.

Courses will be taught by the developer of this program, BetsyAnn Baron. 

Learn how to help your clients experience rejuvenation of injured tissue, increase their range of motion, breathe deeper and easier, improve posture, decrease chronic pain and so much more.

Level 1 courses offer instruction in: full myofascial body treatment protocol including anatomy and physiology to support your understanding of the work; Postural Somatic Awareness (PSA) a fantastic subjective evaluation and educational tool for you, the therapist, as well as for your clients; how to work with the three paradigms (treatment protocol) palliative, corrective, and integrative.

In Level 2, learners will explore specific techniques for the back, hips, calves and feet; continued work in the chest area; additional fascial exploration using long lever techniques; advanced work to the sacro-tuberous ligament, coccyx and pelvic floor; dural system balancing; postural awareness exploration; and fascial pathologies and treatment protocol.


Upcoming dates and locations are as follows:

Level 1: Kelowna, September 30, Oct 1,2; Montreal (Taught in French) November 4-6; Edmonton, November 18-20;

Level 2: Kelowna, February 17-19, 2012; Montreal (Taught in French) March 9-11, 2012; Edmonton. March 23-25, 2012;

Level 3 dates will also be scheduled in each city.
