MTF self-care seminar
July 9, Fort Worth, TX — The Massage Therapy Foundation (MTF) is organizing a one-day seminar to follow the American Massage Therapy Association's national convention this fall.
The seminar will be held Sept. 29 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Fort Worth Convention Centre in Fort Worth, Tex. Featured instructor Diana Thompson, LMP and former MTF president will discuss how self-care is essential for your health and longevity as a massage therapist, and for your client's health and healing.
The workshop will focus on practical techniques, tips and tools you can apply on and off the table, including self-massage, topical analgesics, movement/stretching/strengthening exercises, support cushions and breathing and meditation tips.
